Layla Maynard: Maybe The Dancers Should Give Chipotle A Break...

Summary: A recent E. coli outburst in north western states has caused a sudden panic. Cases are being investigated regarding the shut down of six Chipotle restaurants in the Washington-Oregon area. The pain patients are experiencing are being described as incredibly excruciatingly painful, feeling as though their "guts are being ripped out," says Oregon's Chris Collins. Nineteen cases in Washington and three cases in Oregon are being linked to a certain Mexican themed restaurant, Chipotle. Chipotle has temporary closed fourty three stores in the northwest region.

Analysis: This reminds me of the time a few years ago when I was in middle school, and suddenly everyone was getting swine flu out of nowhere. Or when there was a sudden outburst of Ebola at the start of my freshman year of high school. Obviously, I'm not super educated on this subject, but the only way I know how to help is to WASH MY HANDS. Before you eat, after you eat, after petting animals, after using the restroom, please wash your hands! This of course won't prevent the break out of numerous diseases but it certainly will aid in minimizing the transfer of germs.

  1. Agreed, wash the hands all the time. And giving Chipotle up for a time isn't a bad idea either. (To all you Chipotle-addicts out there)

  2. This reminds me of a rhyme from elementary school: "foamy soap, foamy soap/ it's a lot of fun/ use it once, only once/ wash your hands, you're done." Therefore, hand-washing isn't difficult and is a necessity to a healthy lifestyle!
