El Faro, Found -Avery Yoss
The cargo ship that left from Florida about a month ago went missing and was just recently found almost 3 miles under the sea. The ship, called El Faro, was on its way to Puerto Rico when it was supposedly caught in a hurricane. There were 30 people, mostly crew members, on board. The families of the missing are glad that there is finally closure for them.
I find it weird that even with today's technology, things like this can still happen. The titanic, for example, lost so many lives because of the lack of communication and technology. But today, we can't use that excuse. I feel really bad the families who were left hanging for a month because a loved one was missing.

this is really sad. I'm glad the finally found it though. I hope these accidents of planes and boats and stuff will become less frequent.
ReplyDeleteI agree that his should not be happening in this day and age. Our technology should have improved from titanic times. The people with missing loved ones deserve that.
ReplyDeleteThats true we should have the technology by now although if they were caught in a storm they may have not been able to make contact and people were not able to see their position. Thats terribly sad though and im glad they were able to eventually find the ship.
