More Blue Bell Ice Cream Back on Shelves After Listeria                                      Concerns

The lucky cities of Dallas, Fort Worth, Waco, Tulsa, and Oklahoma City on Monday got to experience Blue Bell ice cream back on the shelves and into their mouths after a long summer without it. During the Spring of 2015 there were listeria concerns resulting in the Company's removal of the ice cream from freezers in stores in Oklahoma and Texas.

In August the Company created a five part plan that devised a strategy for getting the ice cream back into stores. Unfortunately we're only in phase two people and there are five flavors that have the green light to be sold: Buttered Pecan, Cookies n' Cream, Dutch Chocolate, Homemade Vanilla, and The Great Divide.

Many people rejoiced and I overheard a bunch of people at school making plans to go get their hands on the ice cream right after school. Personally, ice cream isn't really my thing so I don't see what people missed so much but I'm glad it's back on the shelves and ready to be eaten.
