This past Sunday afternoon a Baltimore cop responded to a call where they claimed a sixteen year-old looking boy had broken into three vehicles. The officers interviewed him at his house where they learned he had plans to bring weapons, including guns, to his local public school. They found the weapons and more devices that he was planning on using. They were explosives which could also be used to make more. He was sent for an evaluation where they charged him as an adult for three counts of theft and possession of dangerous devices and weapons. This Baltimore cop was praised for his fantastic police work.
This article was written by CNN staff on November 3, 2014. This article gave me a broad explanation of the story, but if it was anymore detailed than the boy's privacy would of been violated. The author's point of view was clear when they praised the policeman and criticized the criminal that they were thankful for the policeman's brave work against the troubled teenage criminal.

Sometimes teens and kids are influenced by the atmospheres they grow up and live in. It is unfortunate to see things like this happen but if not involved in the situation, is extremely hard to alter.
ReplyDeleteI think this problem has gotten out of control and just shows that it wasn't a single persons problem but more of a problem in our society. There is something going on in our daily lives that has to affect these mentally ill people to do the bad things that they are wanting to do.
