A multi-millionaire mother forced a cocktail of painkillers and other drugs down her autistic son's throat and killed him. She now sits in trial. Stories portray her as a cunning and extremely cruel mother who had carefully calculated and planned this murder, but Gigi Jordan has her own story to tell. In court, she claimed that her son had been abused by her ex-husband, sexually and physically. Doctors suspect that the boy was not autistic but was suffering from immune system abnormalities and post traumatic stress disorder. Jordan had left her career to take care of her son who couldn't speak, watching him bang his head repeatedly against the floor and writhe in pain. She says that she killed him because she didn't want him to suffer anymore.
Our unalienable rights that are stated in the Constitution are "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." This woman had no right to take her son's life away, even if she truly thinks that she is bringing him peace. Another question to consider, if she is a multi-millionaire, how could she not take the money that she has and try to heal her son? She had just taken the right that truly belonged to her son, and for that, I think the judge will give her a life sentence.

This sickens me to know that a mother could do such a thing. Regardless of disabilities, any mother should love a child enough to place him or her in the proper care whether that be with an adoptive family or with her. -Elizabeth Muscari p6
ReplyDeleteThis woman needs to serve many years in jail for committing such a hateful crime
ReplyDeleteThis woman didn't even give him a chance to live. Not wanting him to suffer is not a good excuse. He was a child, and she should have let him live to see the beautiful part of life. She was not looking out for her son she was looking out for herself. I bet she has a huge relief now that she doesn't have to worry about him anymore. Just a terrible mistake.
