Americans Released from North Korean Imprisonment- Td Simons 2 pd

This Saturday, the two Americans being held in North Korean prisons, are in the process of being released and sent back to the US. The director of National Intelligence was recently sent to North Korea to resolve the issues and release the two men. He was summoned by the North Korean government who asked for an American cabinet-level official to be sent over to discuss the imprisoned Americans. The two countries have worked it out and the Americans are planned to be released in the next month. These two men are the last Americans to be freed from their minor infractions.

This article was written today, Saturday, November 8th. It was written by Greg Botelho from CNN. The author's view on the event was in favor for the American citizens. It was clear through his tone when he talked about the North Koreans and the world's view against them. Hopefully this interaction between the US and North Korea can create a more peaceful relationship.

  1. More recently it seems that North Korea is releasing more prisoners. It still amazes me that not many people know how life is in North Korea because of strict the North Korean Government making it close to impossible to enter or leave the country.

  2. Glad that that ended somewhat peacefully. Hopefully we won't enter into another war with North Korea.
