sharkeisha, our society is embarrassing: Devon Travis

Over thanksgiving break,  a video of two girls talking when one, "Sharkeisha," ends up walloping the other girl and basically knocking her out. It became a viral SENSATION, where many people watched the video and poked fun at Sharkeisha and the girl who had been punched in the face.

Are we serious? Is this the kind of video we want representing Americans? I watched the video Friday night, and i was appauled. First off, the things Sharkeisha did are horrendous and malignant, as well as down right degrading to herself and her friends. She looks like trash for punching this girl for no reason, if we're being honest. But the fact that so many people have spoken about it, and not in the sense of "oh wow this is horrible why do we let Americans do this?" but as a "hahahah wow Sharkeisha is so great you go girl" kind of attitude. Excuse me? Does this look like something that should EVER be praised? I understand there is self defense, but there was no danger in the situation, so there was no need to beat the crap out of her. This video and it's reaction is disgusting and makes our society look like no good beasts with no manners or self respect. I'm here to put Sharkeisha to rest, SHE IS STUPID.

  1. Haha Sharkeisha is stupid! I just don't understand how people could encourage that type of behavior.

  2. I just watched the video for the first time and I really do not get how this is so popular and considered funny! I do agree that people's reactions are not setting a good view of our society.

  3. I personally like this viral video but do agree that this badly reflects American kids and teens.

That video is crazy what type of people fight because they are mad. what does that even settle by hurting someone physically. I heard that Sharkeisha was fighting over something as simple as a boy. I would never in my life fight over a boy not anything.
