Johnson& Johnson in hot oil

Today Johnson and Johnson was taken to court for a false advertising claim. They were sued for a total of 2.2 million dollars. They did not advertise that some of their products had schizophrenic tendencies and that some of the products lead to heart problems including heart failure. This is one of the biggest health lawsuits that the FDA has seen in many years.

Well in my opinion is that this isn't the first nor the last time that a medical distributions company has gone through a "scandal." This is honestly just ridiculous that someone is going to this far a distance to sue a medical center. I know that common sense ain't so common but, it should be common enough that any medicine that you put I your body has a risk factor to it. Duh! Bit like I said, common sense ain't so common. Anyway the lawsuit was already settled, so I guess I should just get over and get my life.

  1. I agree. I think it is terrible when any company with "intentions" to make good products and help people dont mention the serious side effects their products have. Ironically, large corporations such as Johnson and Johnson probably make profit off of medicine to help relieve the side-effects of their original products.

  2. Johnson & Johnson is such a huge conglomerate that they will probably not feel any great effect from this lawsuit. It is also rather sad to think that they will benefit from any one product's shortcomings via the sale of another product, as Carson mentioned. By the way, what product was being advertised falsely?
