I'm really glad that Russia has finally come up with a somewhat reasonable solution to the chemical weapon situation. I think that if Assad agrees to Russia's proposal, then the UN and US will be able to keep watch over the civil war in a little more relaxed tone.

I think that it's great that Obama is finally showing some decision towards the U.S. and Syria in this new situation. I also agree with Nana that it's a good thing that the U.N. is becoming involved to try and put a handle on things before they go out of control.
