This article is about a swing ride in Conneticut that caused 18 people in total to get injured. The ride broke which caused kids to crash into each other about four times and slam to the base of the ride.The ride was inspected only todays before this all happened "Stewert amusement" the owner of the park stated and has been cooperative with authorities. "it was a mechanical failure"and "its never happened before and hope it never happens again" said Stewert. Multiple people seen this happening and explained how scary it was watching parents scream for their children. The festival temporarily shut down rides after the rides broke and all this happened.

This article was done my Ed Payne and Pamela Brown. they wrote this article to inform us on a unfortunate event that happened in Conneticut.Considering that events like this happen more often now this is probably becoming a more serious issue. Articles like thiese are good because they make us more cautious of rides. This article is not the most positive article published because of the injuries of children , but it does keep us aware of rides and the damage they may cause. i assume that this article should be looked at by all park owners with rides.They should always check there rides more then once a year. thank god no one got seriously injured.
A similar incident like that happened at Six Flags here in Arlington years ago. At least the accident isn't as horrifying as the incident with Texas Giant back in July. Thank god no one was killed.
