"Could Syria strike back if United States, allies, attack?" - Natalie H. 2nd

The article was created by Laura Smith-Park.  Smith-Park is apparently a news journalist for CNN who write articles on US history. Her point of view was based and US-World relations.
The article was produced in the US on Monday, September 2nd, 8:09pm. This article covers the recent news of the relations with the United States and Syria.
Prior to reading this article, I knew that recently there has been nuclear chemical production done in Syria, threatening the safety of the United States of America and our allies as well. I understand that CNN has covered this topic with their interpretation on the subject.
This article is written for the general public online, although it is most likely targeted at a concerned American audience. It is a negative subject towards the audience and their well-being.
To bring the audience up to speed on the current events of the nuclear testing in Syria that could possibly affect America and the rest of the world.
The point of the article is to make people wary of our enemy’s power and what their actions are leading up to- another nuclear war perhaps.
This article is important because it focuses on America’s relations with Syria and the returning essence of nuclear weapons.  I have concluded that we have something new to fear for our country and the people in it. This document is relevant to our lives because the fact that Syria is producing nuclear weapons for the use of possibly blowing us Americans off the map is a life or death matter, wouldn’t you think?

  1. I find it highly unlikely that Syria would be foolish enough to attempt chemical weapons against America. The only chance they'd have at this sort of warfare would be indirectly, through al quaeda. Even then, they're not a world superpower. Maybe regional, but they don't have close to what it would take to put a dent in America's armor.

  2. If Syria used such weapons against the United States then they would face the possibilty of total annihilation. The U.S. is a world superpower with nuclear weapons, and while the use of nuclear weapons is unlikely, it is always a possibility.
