Strong Philippines earthquake kills at least 3, including child- Yesenia Ramirez Monroy
Recently on Monday morning there was a strong earthquake that killed 3 people and many were trapped by the buildings that collapsed. This also led an airport to close due to damages that were caused due to the incident. A few hours after the incident some people were rescued and showed no signs of severe injuries; however, some people had to have their leg,or arm amputated. Their have also been recent reports that around 31 people are missing that were located at a supermarket. The reports of the earthquake show that around 49 million people were exposed to some shaking from the earthquake, and its magnitude was 6.3.

This allows the government to take action and help recover after an unexpected event for example in this case the Red Cross provided help to the Philippines and the Associated Press.
