In this article it describes actress Felicity Huffman's involvement in the college admissions scandal and her decision to plead guilty, she will be the most widely known to plead. Huffman and her husband William H. Macy paid $15000 to cheat on their daughter's SAT. Macy however has not been charged. Prosecutors have stated that 12 other parents and 3 coaches have pleaded guilty as well. The impact of this on Huffman's career is unclear at this moment. It is also unclear as to how much time she will receive if any based on the amount she paid to cheat.
I think that it is good that a celebrity plead guilty to an embarrassing scandal like the college admissions one, many of the other widely known people involved have stayed quiet and plan to fight the charges even though the evidence is everywhere. This reminds me of the watergate scandal because they both involve the idea of cheating to get something.
