After death, Nipsey Hussle's sales and streams soar
Many people are mourning the death of a 33 year old rapper Nipsey Hussle, he died on March 31,2019. The day after his death 2,000 copies of his album were sold, followed by 9,000 copies on Monday. On Wednesday his 2018 debut Album "Victory Lap" was number #1 on the iTunes Album chart. His music continues to move up on the charts.
Analysis: This article was written about the legacy of rapper Nipsey Hussle. I think that this article is important because people need to know that we are are still keeping his music alive. This article relates to history because there have been many stars that after they passes there music reached to places they may have never gone before. For example, Prince, XXXtenacion, and many others moved up the charts after there passing.
I have noticed this trend, too. I understand why it's happening, as it makes sense that people would want to honor these artists by listening to their work, or they want to discover who the artist is after hearing about their death on the news. I personally did not listen to Nipsey Hussle's music, but I can tell by the support of his music during this week that he will be missed by many.

The death of Nipsey just adds to the amount of rappers and singers who will now be missed because gun control. Nipsey Hussle will be missed, he was a wondeful soul.
