Disney Bans Smoking in Parks- Mia Murphy
On March 28th Disney Parks in Florida and California announced that on May 1st they will be a smoke free park. If they want to smoke they will have to do it at designated locations outside the security area. Because Walt Disney is a family-friendly company they're trying to stay away from the usage of cigarettes. Also they've tried to start not including a lot of smoking in films for children. Many of the other parks and different PG movies have already completely cut out smoking for the benefit of children. In my opinion I think this is a good idea because as a child having seen adults smoke all around you could lead to them thinking it's something they should do, or be interested in doing.
