Can you eat your way to a better mental health? Studies say yes -Karsyn Kelly

Although the research is not extensive, studies have shown that people who eat at least one extra serving of fruits of vegetables a day are more likely to have positive mental health and mental wellness. The study specifically mentioned it affected participants motivation and vitality. It also talked about links to depression and anxiety and that eating extra servings of fruits and vegetables could decrease chances of getting either one in the future. Along with mental health effects, we also know that eating a healthy diet such as, fruits and vegetables, increases a persons physical wellness and therefore, is beneficial to a person's overall health.

In my opinion, eating more fruits and veggies helps me have a clearer mind. It doesn't only help clear my mind, but also helping me feel more energized. Fruits and vegetables are a key to having a well balanced diet!
