An article by Chris Ciaccia reveals that research regarding an extraordinary discovery has been kept a secret for years. This research captures a fossilized snapshot of the very day nearly 66 million years ago that an asteroid hit Earth, killing nearly all life on the planet, including the dinosaurs.
Researchers say they found evidence in North Dakota that the asteroid hit in Mexico. The snapshot shows fish with hot glass in their gills from flaming debris that showered back down on Earth; they also reported having seen charred trees, evidence of an inland tsunami and melted amber.
In the past, our government has withheld shocking amounts of information, and we probably aren't aware of three-fourths of this information.
This is a big achievement to finally be able to date back a time like this and the government withholds information like they always do.
