A man armed with a semiautomatic assault-style rifle stormed the Tree of Life synagogue here Saturday and shot worshipers during Shabbat services, killing 11 and wounding six in the deadliest attack on Jews in the history of the United States.
11 Jews were killed for what they believe in and bothering no one. Whether you realize it or not this is America. We go from school shooting to racist rants to separating children from their parents at the border to killing people from their religion. The sad part about it that’s it’s nithing new but in the last two years it has increased because a the person in charge influenced this bad behavior.
The worst thing about all the tragic events that have occurred sequentially is that nothing has been done. There have been no interventions, and maybe if one aspect of our legislature was changed, or one aspect of our society, we could become a nation that isn't rife with tragedies.
ReplyDeleteIts very upsetting that all we do about issues like this is report it on the news and even tho they gunman is serving life in jail, we should still do more to prevent problems like this from happening again
