The INF treaty that keeps certain nuclear arms from being formulated, may not stop Russia or anyone else from making nuclear armaments. In 1987 Ronald Reagan signed the INF treaty, but soon, our current president may be walking away from it. There have been rumors that Russia has been breaking the agreement, and the U.S. may end up doing the same thing. Given the trend of how President Trump has dealt with deals made by his predecessors, we may see another Nuclear Arms Race in our lifetime.
This relates to history, because it references the Cold War and how we solved our problems then. We ended in a peaceful restriction treaty, but now we're back at odds and digging up bad blood.

Trump is considering doing away with the INF because it puts us at a disadvantage with countries without such regulations, such as China.
ReplyDeleteYou used British comma rules in the first sentence of the second paragraph. In American English, a comma is placed between the independent and dependent clauses only if the dependent clause precedes the other. The opposite is true in British English.
The fact that we have to have races take place to see who is "better" is just non-sense to me.
