Student one of 3 dead in San Bernardino school shooting
Summary: A man walked into a special needs classroom in San Bernadino, California and shot the teacher as well as injuring two students, before killing himself. It was later found out that the man was the estranged husband of the teacher and that they had been separated for only a few months. The faculty let the man because he claimed to be dropping something off for his wife and then quickly open-fired on the classroom without seeing anything. One student died.
Analysis: I think it's horrible that an innocent child died because of this man's anger. The police ruled that the children were not the targets of the attack, but were simply standing behind the teacher. This is just another case which shows why gun control in this day and age is so important. This can be synthesized to the shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School a few years ago.
i think that it is horrible that a student, who didn't know anything of what was going on, was killed along with the teacher. the man who did this should be contained in some sort of center that will help him through his anger, then after his time there is up, be taken to jail and face proper charges for this crime. -tessa ward
