In New England, sports are to some extent, a denomination in the religion of Bostonion culture. Ever since their creations, New England sports teams have been the leader of anything having to do with boston, Because of either their skill, or their marketing. Like many american cities, Boston is struggling with passing a bill to support the transgender population, This is where the sports come in. To help push this bill, Monumental sports teams like the Boston Bruins, New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, And Finally the Red Sox, All supported the passing of the bill.
I think that it is amazing for the teams to do something like this, This extra push is exactly what the support bill needed. This bill really shouldn't need this push to get passed considering that Massachusetts is a Strong blue state and the first to pass the same sex marriage bill, but just like most cities in the nation they are struggling. Luckily with this newfound support from the Athletic Armageddon of New England, it looks like boston will finally show support for the transgender population.

I agree, this is great! Sadly things like this take a while to become widely accepted as common social opinions change over time.

And many issues have yet to be acceptable in society's eyes, unfortunately... But I agree that this push is what the bill needed, and I only hope that in time the subject becomes less controversial and more a topic that can be openly discussed and addressed, for the good of those transgender who are really struggling with getting the support they need from friends and family.
