4 new elements! Simon Waranch-3rd period.
Last Week, 4 new elements were added to the periodic table. Now, the periodic table in chemistry textbooks will be different. Elements 113,115,117 and 118 have been recognized by the international union of pure applied chemistry. This is the first time elements have been added since 2011. All of the new elements are not found in nature. All of them were created.

ReplyDeleteWow so cool!
This is fascinating to me. I wonder how they discovered them. I have a feeling the chemistry department will have a lot to talk about on Monday.
ReplyDeletewoah, I wonder if these elements will be used in chem equations in class now.

The discovery of these new elements is really cool, but they actually only existed for just a few seconds. I think the real innovation will be when they are able to maintain the existence of these elements for the long hall and find uses for them that could benefit the world.
