Women Survives 45 Minutes With No Pulse By: Nina Bharadwaj, 2nd Period

A mother from Florida has finally returned home with her infant after surviving without a pulse for 45 minutes following a cesarean section operation. A team of medical experts had spent three hours attempting to revive the women and were going to officially proclaim her dead until a heart monitor showed that she still had a heartbeat. The hospital spokesman, Thomas Chakurda, stated "She essentially spontaneously resuscitated when we were about to call the time of death."
The entire family of 40-year-old Ruby Graupera-Cassimiro had gathered into the room to hear the unfortunate news of her death. However, a miracle took place in which she survived with no brain damage. The birth of her daughter had been going smoothly until amniotic fluid entered her bloodstream. This condition stopped Cassimiro's circulation and is more often than not fatal. Many attempts were made to revive her, and her survival is said to be a depiction of "divine providence."

  4. It really makes you wonder if science is so easily defied by "luck" then it seems as though something greater than science or more powerful exists. It really speaks to the fact that science does not have all the answers

  5. This is true. God works in mysterical ways. Science tries to understand and manipulate everything but it just comes to show that they have no control over the subject, but can only help as much as a human can.
