"Magnitude 4.4 earthquake rocks LA area"

Summary:
Today in Southern California, just outside of Los Angeles, an earthquake startled many in the early morning. It hit around 6:30 am local time. It was first documented as a 4.7, but finally announced as a magnitude 4.4 and was felt all the way from Orange County to the south and Palmdale to the east. Luckily, no damage was made, there were no injuries, and there were no water breaks or power outages.

Analysis:
It's good to hear that this startling earthquake did not cause any harm. However, it was still frightening to some people, occurring unexpectedly! Even if you live in a place like California that gets earthquakes often, I don't think you could ever get used to them because you never know how bad they will be, how long they will last, or when they are coming. This news reporter's reaction to the earthquake explains it well and is actually pretty funny!

  1. Earthquakes and other natural disasters honestly scare me so so much! Mainly because its out of our control, and chaos is not a favorable feeling
