"Latest SpaceX Launch Called Off" - Camille Farrar

This article, by Greg Botelho, profiles the newest mission of SpaceX, a company that launched in 2002 in order to perform research to allow humans to, ultimately, live on other planets. One of their newest spacecrafts, Falcon 9, was supposed to be launched on Thursday. The company became nervous and decided to check on a few more things, so the craft will not be launched for at least a few more days. As the saying goes, “Better safe than sorry.”
I think it’s truly incredible that there are companies devoted to finding ways to develop technology to the point that we would be able to thrive in another place in the universe. I hope all goes well with the mission once it gets off the ground. The article didn’t specify what Falcon 9 will be doing, but I’d like to do some research to see what the plan is for the craft.

  1. This is really cool. I hope it goes well so that when can leave the earth so that it can start to de pollute itself and turn into a more hospitable living environment.
