Colorado recently proposed a "red flag" bill, which would allow guns to be confiscated from those who "looked" as though they would be a danger to themselves or others. Though a step in the right direction if the country wants to see gun violence decrease, the bill lends itself for discrimination, which immediately makes me think of the historic sit-ins in Greensbrough.
