a record haul of cocaine has been found in crates of bananas in supermarkets around germany this past week, officials say. the cocaine was in the hundreds of kilograms in banana crates in the supermarket aldi located in northern germany, the drugs are believed to have been delivered from central america, early reports say the drugs could be worth in the region of 28 million dollars, and is a truly unique case. officials say police officers are still hunting after the source of the drugs, following their discovery this past week. this isnt the first case that drugs have been smuggled in fruits in germany, in late 2018 109kg of cocaine was found in crates of pineapple in a warehouse in hamburg! I think this is a very unique and interesting story, and sad for the supermarkets.
