In Gainesville, Florida, a cassowary, killed its owner after he fell in the backyard at home. The bird is giant with long claws on each foot. Owner Marvin Hajos, 75, initially called 911on Friday about 10 a.m. Another call came from a person at the scene who reports a medical emergency involving a large bird. Hajos was taken to a close hospital where he later passed. The cassowary remains on Hajos' property while authorities continue with an investigation on the attack.
