Brunei will not impose the death penalty on those convicted of having gay sex , in an apparent bid to temper international condemnation following its roll out of strict new Islamic laws last month. An announcement was made that there will be punishments including death by stoning , for those convicted of gay sex, adultery or rape. Many celebrities have come together to boycott owned by the Sultan, the country's ruler who would extend a moratorium on capital punishment.
This article was published by CNN news and its meant to inform others about was going on around the world and how people in the LGBTQ community unfortunately aren't safe in other places in the world. I did hear about this topic its been around my social media. This is really scary and I just hope one day people won't have to be afraid to show who they really are and who they love . I'm glad to see celebrities make a change by taking note on this topic and donate their time and money to foundations that could help the LGBTQ community.
