A man in Florida was recently arrested due to being found guilty for his involvement in the bombs sent to political names. The FBI finally pinpointed him when a single finger print and mistakes on spelling led them to the right suspect. The man named Cesar Sayoc is 56 and used to be a pizza deliveryman. He was arrested Friday and charged with multiple crimes in connection with the homemade pipe bombs sent this week to former president Barack Obama, former secretary of state Hillary Clinton and others.

Threats like this have sadly happen before. I believe everyone has the right to their views and opinions. Regardless of your feelings towards the people in power, people should remember that taking matters like this is too far and absolutely uncalled for. Hopefully this is the last event we will witness like this.
I like that you chose to write about this interesting topic, i find it interesting. I like your analysis and i think it is very well thought out, but i would love if you would relate to an important moment in U.S history to top it off. Well done.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your analysis. I think this was too far and I don't believe anybody should be targeted this way. -Lesly Marquez
ReplyDeleteThere are just these ignorant people these days.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. I believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinions and have a right to their own political views. However, when you put someone's life in danger, you cross a line which is beyond just having an opinion. Nobody should feel they can take someone else's life because they don't believe in the same things. This was an awful course of action this man decided to take. Lily Philips
ReplyDeletei agree with your analysis when you say, "everyone has the right to their own views and opinions." Without different views our country wouldn't be able to improve.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that this was too far. Also I like how you say everyone is entitled to their own views, because that is correct. However, I do not think anyone should stand behind bombs-that's just me personally.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree that acting as this man did is unacceptable and I feel for all of the impacted families of the victims. It is one thing to have a differing opinion than others and even a difference in religion or what you feel is morally correct. But everyone's opinion should be respected and no harm should be brought to those who think differently than you do.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with your analysis and I think that no one should ever have to go as far as sending bombs to multiple outspoken opponents of one person to try to mute their voices.
