Brandon Spigner- Fight For $15
The Fight for $15 movement is one that I am very passionate about. This movement is fighting for a $15 minimum wage because in this day and age $7.25 is not nearly enough to provide for your family causing tons of people to work 2-3 jobs just so they can afford to put food on their table. In the article, it tells us that volunteers will canvass in 11 battleground states to get out the vote to make $15 minimum wage a reality. Wisconsin is a target area because it was a swing state that led to the presidency of Donald Trump.
This movement is similar to the reform of the Second Great Awakening in the early 19th century. This is important for the country and if they get it passed it will start a domino effect across America allowing equal opportunities for all.

Yes, I agree. The minimum wage cap should be at $15 because of the reasons you stated in the article. People should be getting paid good for their extremely hard work.

Yes i completely agree, the minimum wage is not enough for anyone to live off and thats just not right becuase some people really need these minimum wage jobs. So many great things could come of just raising minimum wage.- KLOE RHODEN
ReplyDeleteI also agree with you my dear friend. What you stated in the beginning is extremely true! especially for single mothered or dad families. It's sad to think that some people go to sleep without food in their stomach. Though, it wouldn't be right to those who don't work hard to get paid that amount.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Brandon, we should have a higher pay because we all work hard and we need to money to support ourselves and our family.
