Sophia Zhukova - Footballer Colin Kaepernick , who refused to stand in the performance of the US anthem, became the face of the Nike campaign. Americans began to burn their sneakers

Dissatisfied Americans burn sneakers and spoil the sportswear manufacturer's products in protest against football player Colin Kaepernick, who became the face of Nike's new advertising campaign. Note that earlier, C. Kaepernick showed, as people say, "disrespectful" to the American flag and to the country in principle: Donald Trump outraged the player's behavior at the match when he pointedly ignored the US anthem. In the response of the player himself to his behavior, we can see the problem long familiar to the US: segregation.

Actions of C. Kaepernick and people's protest are only their choice. But sometimes, making choices we forget about the main thing: be respectful. Be respectful to each other, to the world. you can don't like something about your country, there are always things that we have to worry about, but if you can take care of it, take care about your country, about people in it, help something to grow and give a breath to something new, why can't you do it with all your kindness and understanding?  I know, there are a lot of things that are opposite to it in our world. People are being aggressive and hateful around us everytime in our life. But it never helps. it is never a smart way of protest if people damage/destroy/kill something/somebody.
Colin Kaepernick shows us a kind of protest and I can't see any of disrespect in his actions. We can compare it with every event that was connected with segregation in the US. If he sees this problem, then he should make some good influence for it, and do not be just hateful to his country, like with all people too: not be just hateful about the choice of C. Kaepernick. But helpful.

  1. I think its a little irritating that Kaepernick's actions are being treated as a disrespect to our troops. I have no idea how people even came to this ridiculous conclusion.
