Hundreds of people are trapped in the Carolinas due to Hurricane Florence flooding. The storm has already killed 18 people, and the death toll is expected to get worse. It has gotten so bad that they are starting to close highways and 900 rescue have been reported in North Carolina alone.
Hurricane Florence is starting to remind me of Katrina. Though is was only 2, I still have vivid memories of tons of family members evacuating New Orleans and coming to our house. I feel like that is what a lot of families are experiencing right now. I even had family members that had to be rescued because they didn't want to leave, which I can imagine is happening now as well.
