Hurricane Florence made landfall on September 14th. This has been a category two hurricane that had increased in size but decreased in strength. Today, it is causing the people in North Carolina to suffer as they watch the waters crawl and destruct the towns. They now say it is category one, with strong wind and 3 inches of rain per hour. There are about 150 people in a town in North Carolina waiting to be rescued.

This is a tragic natural disaster that is destroying lives. Although it was not a natural disaster, this can relate to the Huron/Beaver Wars. The destruction that the Hurons went through is similar to the people in North Carolina. The fear of not being able to escape, or not knowing when it will end. Hopefully, the hurricane will end with a more positive result than the wars did with the Hurons.
