An Alaska mom killed her two children- Daviah Harrison

An Alaska mom has been charged for murdering her two children.The first child was killed in September, 2015 but the death of the child wasn't investigated. The second child's death called for an investigation since the two cases were similar.After the investigation started, police stated that her internet searches included "ways to suffocate" and other searches related to murdering someone.

This event reminds me of Female Infanticide that happens in several nations such as China, India, and Pakistan(or femicide- the killing of females of any age)which has been going on for centuries  even after the passing of the female infanticide prevention act in 1870. No one knows why the Alaska mom killed her children but some reasons in other countries are because of poverty,deformed infants, having a baby when your not married, famine, maternal illnesses, and lack of support systems.
