Another School Shooting Chloe Villa-Abrille

What was supposed to be another day ended horribly, one student who was caught in the wake of this even explains how the situation played out. 10 minutes before the bell would ring; however instead the sounds of cracking shots pierced the air. He said after what was believed to be a drill suddenly became much more real after students hurdled into closets desperately checking their phones for greater detail. After a tense hour policy asked for them to come out with their hands up. After the teacher checked to make sure it was safe many left their school supplies as they were told by the police to do. Once they were in the clear the police escorted the student to safety.
I question when this will end, you had the LA shooter not too long ago and now this. How long will it take for things to change, how long will it take for me not to have to write about these tragic stories of massacres and instead of the great advances of our civilization? I truly wonder though, when will the government and those in power take action into stoping these kind of events. Also I’m concerned over why action is only momentarily taken after someone dies. Why rules are enforced once a life is taken, often times people act way too late and even once they do, their efforts become futile.

  1. It almost feels as if every news story ties towards a shooting. We NEED more enforcement.
