Summary: The Foresthill Bridge in California is a nice and fun tourist spot for those who like to look at the view. For some, they like to break the rules and climb down to the bridge's girders, then under part, which can be fun, yet extremely dangerous. Unfortunately, a woman fell backwards off the bridge onto a trail below. All while trying to take a selfie. She was rushed to a hospital and will take a while to recover, all due to her attempting to take a silly picture.
Analysis: This article was written on Thursday, April 7, yesterday. It was published by CNN a news source that is unbiased that I know I can trust. This article is mainly important because we need to know our limits. Although it can be fun and exhilarating to get that selfie, which is more important, a selfie, or your own life? You have many opportunities to take selfies, but only one life to do that in. This is so serious that police are now arresting people that are caught on the bridge's girders, which in my opinion is a smart move. We need to keep people from getting hurt!
Synthesis: This strongly synthesizes to the introduction of automobiles to the US in the 20's because many people did stupid things and ended up getting severely hurt or even killed. The same when texting and driving became a thing a couple of years ago. Many were choosing one text over their life. Similar to this girl choosing a selfie for social media over her life (almost.)

I believe it is an addiction for some to post their every move for others to see what they are doing at all times which is resulting in many injuries and deaths. Even with all the stories of these things happening people just can't enjoy themselves without letting everyone know what they're doing.
