Fixing Medicare Doctor Payments - Alyssa Hamilton

Concerns over spending are causing delays on the reparation of medicare doctor payments. The proposed house bill is for a $214 billion initiative that would link doctor's medicare reimbursements to the quality of their care. However, many conservatives are worried about passing said bill because it would add half a trillion dollars to the deficit after 20 years in use.
The problem of national debt has been one that has been around for, pretty much forever. During the Great Depression the Government realized that they needed to be more careful with our spending, however, they haven't been so great about keeping up with that as we are in massive debt.
