Deadly Storms move East Kalena Rodriguez p5

Citizens of Houston woke up to a nightmare on tuesday morning after about 10 inches of rain fell in some ares. All types of busy roads like streets, bridges, and highways were flooded; leaving it close to impossible to drive without drowning out. Southeast Texas is experiencing the worst of these types of conditions. Cars were stranded everywhere and transportation was at a standstill. Roads have transformed into rivers and lakes. Things like small neighborhood ponds have overfilled and are flowing on the sidewalks, or rushing in between houses. with conditions already this bad, they can easily be extremed with more rain fall in the forecasts.
Even though my city has not seen the worst of these conditions, traveling hours across texas for memorial day was a little dangerous and difficult due to the weather conditions. i want to send some of this rain over to california.

  1. It is important that our government takes action in preparing the citizens on how to handle the situation. Many tragedies could be prevented if the correct steps are taken.
