Ugandan Tourist Kidnapped on April 3 GRAYSON DECKER GRAYSON DECKER
On April 3, A tourist named Kimberley Sue Endecott and her tour guide were ambushed and kidnapped by locals. They demanded a ransom of 500,000 dollars be paid for them back. The country of Uganda did not pay it because it was against their code but it was payed. 8 Ugandan locals were arrested. Since tourism is very important to their economy, the country was very careful in restoring faith in the eyes of tourists.
