Trump is threatening to send immigrants being detained at the border to sanctuary cities as retaliation for them not cooperating with federal law enforcement when it comes to enforcing immigration laws. He thinks that illegally placing detainees in these cities will force them to redact their statements about having "open arms" to immigrants. Honestly, I think it's disgusting to use people's livelihoods as a way to enact revenge on political opponents. He shows a similar disregard to others' lives as US forces did when they dropped atomic bombs on Japan, likely to intimidate the Soviets.
I feel like this issue is getting very old and he just needs to give up already and I honestly don’t see why it’s such a big deal when it isn’t.
