In this article, it was discussed how memory is a fragile thing that slowly deteriorates as we all get older. Recently, scientist discovered brief sessions of brain stimulation could reverse this decline in memory temporarily. This simulation targets neural circuits of the brain synchronizing them in key regions. this is known as transcranial altering current stimulation, or tACS. This has become pretty controversial considering there is no implant, so it requires brain surgery.
This relates to history because we could all use some type of mechanism to help our memories of past situations
It’s terrible to think that our brain as we soon get older will start to deteriorate. I hope that one day we will develop research and programs that will help the brain to be stimulated, and she stay healthy for a lot longer than it has in the past. The brain is so important, and I believe that it deserves the best of the best and funding and research. It’s terrible to think that our brain as we soon get older will start to deteriorate.
