College admission scandal heats up - Madison Malonson

14 people have pled guilty to paying for their children to get admitted into universities. Now that they have been caught they are so ashamed and regretful of their actions. They paid thousand of dollars for their children to have unfair advantages and now they could spend years in prison. Personally I think these people got exactly what they deserved. Everybody should be on an even playing field when it comes to getting a higher education. This reminded me of the education system in colonial America, only upper class people could send their children to school because they could afford it. In this case, these upper class children are getting into prestigious schools not because they earned it , but because they can afford to.
