A 12 year old boy was killed and four others were injured by a drunk driver. He is being held for 250,000 cash or 500,000 bond. In the near future he will be charged with additional charges .
In my personal analysis I think the intoxicated man should be in prison already. If you are a driver you know not to drive if you have drunken alcohol.
Girl, when I saw "Youngboy killed", I thought you meant NBA Youngboy. Stop playing with my heart. Anyway, I think drunk drivers should really think twice because a split second could really change your life.

DeleteI agree with what you said about imprisoning the drunk. Driving intoxicated is already illegal, but if you kill someone it’s even worse, there should not have been any hesitation to lock him up. I think this story is really sad and people need to do something about intoxicated drivers. - Joziah German
ReplyDeleteI thinks it's so sad that this man isn't getting the time he should get especially since drinking while intoxicated is a very serious thing. There families now have to live with this for the rest of their life's.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that the man should be in prison already because he was drunk while writing. I think this topic is very sad and they should lock him up.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree that the man should be in jail. It is sad that we are losing so many young lives to reckless people.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you when you say that he should be in jail already. There was no reason for him to be driving while drunk. I hope that people realize how tragic and drastic an effect they can cause due to one bad decision and stop drunk driving.
ReplyDeleteYou're all exactly right. In Texas, you can receive a punishment of 2 to 20 years in jail for intoxication manslaughter. Therefore, although I don't know what state this occurred, yes, he should be in jail. Although he didn't intend harm, he was reckless and irresponsible. Now, with a 12 year old boy dead and others injured, he needs to be held accountable for his actions. In addition to this, action should be took to prevent future accidents, such as revoking his license. I hope that people our age, who are beginning to drive, see this and remember it. Maybe it can help educate others to make good decisions.
ReplyDeleteI agree! By now, everyone should know that it is SO DANGEROUS to drive even with small amounts of liquor in your system. Innocent people should not have to worry for their lives when they are on the road.
ReplyDeleteThere is no punishment severe enough for what he did, the life of a boy who was only beginning to live was ended in the hands of this driver and his irresponsibe acts. This post hits close to home because I had a friend who lost three of her siblings to a drunk driver only two years ago, this driver was let free while my friend carried the weigh of extreme grief on her shoulders.
ReplyDeleteI agree that there is no punishment that will make him pay enough for what he did. He should already be in jail not only because he was drunk driving, which is illegal, but he killed an innocent child. This should be a lesson for other drivers because this man has to live with the fact that he killed someone. -Courtney McColley
ReplyDeleteAs someone who has been in a car with someone who is intoxicated and narrowly avoiding a disaster I can completely agree with you and most other people. There is zero excuse. Safety is always first whether it is you or the public.

ReplyDeleteSafety should always be a number one concern for anyone behind the wheel especially drivers that are intoxicated that should not even be behind the wheel in the first place. There will never be a punishment for this driver that could ever match the pain suffering and horrible events that everyone involved is going through. - Paige McManaman
