Daniela Rodriguez - 400 guns stolen from ups facility

https://wreg.com/2018/10/01/authorities-400-guns-stolen-from-ups-facility/

This past weekend, over 400 guns were stolen from a ups facility. Men pulled up in a u-haul, and simply left the facility with 400 guns, of an unknown kind and unrecognizable. There is no police report, and the people living in the area do not recognize the men. This sparks the issue of gun control, that has prevailed in american history since the second amendment, and even recently with school shootings around the nation. This occurence is yet another moment in time that spurs a call to action, as this issue must be addressed rather than ignored, as to spare more lives.

  1. This situation I very dangerous, especially since no one has caught them. I hope that no one loses their life due to this crime not being solved yet.

  2. I can’t believe that no one noticed 400 ups guns getting stolen. How did they even get in? - Bryn Bohannan

  3. This incident provides further proof and evidence as to why we need to severely limit or eliminate the number of guns in circulation, if we didn't have dangerous weapons in such easy-to-reach places, problems like this would be much more minor.

  4. Guns should not be shipped by private companies. If weapons are going to be transported, it should be by high security, government vehicles. Now there are 400 more guns circulating in illegal markets, not that it's all that hard to get a gun legally anyway.

  5. Chloe Meinershagen - Its really saddening, the state of our government. There was another article that mentioned this and I just about ripped a piece of paper because I wonder if our country truly cares about our people and our children and our students that make up the next generation of our country? Would no one care if I died going to a public school supported by the government??

  6. 400 guns? That is simply absurd and terrifying that a group of people have 400 guns on hand. My question is, when will the people on capitol hill start making changes to protect their citizens? What has to happen for them to finally take some initiative?
