Plaid Shirt Guy- Maya Davis

This article is about a teenager that went to a Donald Trump rally who was kicked out by the secret service for making faces behind Trump. The teenager thinks that he was kicked out of the rally for not being enthusiastic enough.  He also said that people sitting behind Trump were told "you have to be enthusiastic, you have to be clapping, you have to be cheering for Donald Trump.

This incident personally reminds me of how people in North Korea who don't cheer loud enough for Kim Jung Un are punished. It may seem like a reach, but I do think if we continue to let things like this slide, it leads to a very slippery slope.

  2. this is lowkey scary and kind of cult-ish, i feel like every day more parallels are drawn out between the u.s and north korea, making them slowly have more resemblance.

  3. How is it that Trump even controls how people can respond at a rally. If you need to tell someone to be more enthusiastic , then you probably need to reevaluate what you're doing.
