Typhoon Mankhut: Storm Hits China as Philippines Searches for Dozen Buried in Slides 

Summary: 

 This article informs us about the massive storm that hit China on Sunday.As Typhoon Mankhut moved past Honk Kong and entered southern China authorities in the Philippines told us that landslides had buried dozens of people.This storm has sustained winds of up too 100 miles per hour causing many flights to be cancelled, windows to shatter, buildings in the city to sway, and roof tops blown off of peoples houses. The storm also caused flooding forcing people to leave their homes and find safer grounds such as shelters.Up to 18,000 shelters were being used and authorities were worried that the  number of death could surpass 100. This storm hit many places in China causing about 5.7 million people to be affected in at least one way. China was not only worried about their people but was also worried about their nuclear plants that supply electricity to local manufacturers. The area in which the nuclear plants were located were use to typhoon battles and the Chinese had stringent  standards requiring that all critical infrastructure be able to withstand severe weather.

I think that was happened in China was really bad and unfortunate. I think they deserve as much help as possible because they suffered many damages and lost many things. People lost homes and family members and are going through a though time and it isn't easy. This just comes to show that we as people need to stick together through everything and help each other out.
