The is about Arizona having a historic all-female Senate race and it’s getting heated. It’s between Democratic Kyrsten Sinema and Republican Martha McSally and one of them will become the first female senate in Arizona. Kelly Dittmar states that One is more associated with stereotypical masculine roles and strengths while the other is more associated with traditional concepts of femininity weakness or lack of seriousness to deal with the serious national security issues.
This article is important because it shows how 2 women can have a health competition and making history by being the first all-women race. I also think that is very important because never in history has there been an all-female race for Senate and this demonstrates that women can do all the things that men can do and is proving history wrong.
I am proud of both of the women that are competing to be the first female senate, it shows that things are changing in a good way. I also admire that your post is about something positive that is happening in the world today. It is important to know about a lot of current events but I think people (including myself)forget that these can be good things.
ReplyDeleteI think this is going to be a very interesting race even taking out the fact they are both women from skimming over the article it looks like they are both playing to win and going at it hard, I look forward to hearing the outcome.
