King Henry VIII war ship Mary Rose is being restored with the help of micro magnetic gel that will fill the water wood. The magnetic gel will neutralized the acid made by the water wood to safely restore the battle ship from Britain. Serena Corr was the one who wanted to see if her technology would work by testing her gel in an oak wood that she had soaked in ocean water. she is at the  University of Glasgow chemist and the leader of the scientific team working on the Mary Rose project. The Mary Rose sank in 1545 off England’s southern coast during the Battle of the Solent  which was a conflict between France and Britain. thousand of other ship wrecks could be saved with the gel that Corr made.

The French and British rival is a very important rivalry in the making of Americans history. When France was pushed out of America the British got most of the land. The 7 years war in 1756 and lasted until 1763. Even though the battle ship was not sunk in the same time period (1545) it still shows that the British and French have not been getting along with each other for a long time. When you think about it all of the ships under water from wars are filled with lots of gold and treasure .
