Fiona Graybill- US Border Patrol agent arrested in 4 deaths described as serial killer

A US Border Patrol and a former Navy Seal, Juan David Ortiz confessed to the four murders committed in past two weeks on Saturday. The women who were murdered were all prostitutes and the Webb County District Attorney describes the series of murders as a hunt. Detailed in the affidavit, the killer was apprehended when a woman who he held at gunpoint escaped his reach, described the events to a state trooper, and the killer was later arrested.
Analysis: The events of this arrest are chilling to think about, especially because Ortiz isn’t the only Border Patrol agent arrested within the last couple of months, the most recent being the arrest of an agent who murdered his partner and their infant son. Though not clear what the motive was other than the fact that the women killed were all prostitutes, the real question is where is all the corruption in the CBP is stemming from (not including the rogue murderous individuals)?

  1. This is such an unsettling story. After all, we only found out about him bevause one woman survived. How would we know if more things like this were occuring?

  2. Agreed! The above comment is completely accurate. I just find this completely chilling to know that things like this are happening from the people who are supposed to be "protecting" us and people in general not just U.S citizens.
